Is your dog suffering from joint stiffness? Do they have difficulty getting out of bed? Maybe they're favouring a leg or unwilling to play? Then your dog should try Artevite®!

What is Artevite®?

Artevite® is a dietary supplement for dogs. It helps maintain normal healthy function, flexibility and mobility in stiff, and worn or damaged joints. The key ingredient to Artevite® is an extract of the traditional medicinal plant Artemisia annua.

Artemisia annua seeds are sourced from Switzerland and grown at high altitudes in Tanzania. The dried plant is shipped to New Zealand where the active compounds are extracted using supercritical carbon dioxide. The plant extract is combined with other ingredients to make a tasty, beef-flavoured chewable tablet.

Using Artevite®

Used regularly as recommended as a dietary supplement, Artevite® can support and maintain long-term joint health.

Suggested use

The chewable tablets can be taken with or without food. We recommend 1-2 tablets per day per 10kg body weight. It is not recommended to exceed 4 tablets per 10kg of body weight per day.

Artevite® has been specially formulated to be tasty for most dogs. However, the active ingredient is a plant extract and some dogs are more discerning than others! If your dog is a fussy eater, just hide the tablet in food. It is likely that once your dog gets used to the taste, he or she will eat it willingly.

Supplement Facts

Each tablet contains 40mg of a proprietary extract of Artemisia annua and other non-active ingredients including real beef extract. Artevite® contains no corn, wheat or gluten.

The safety of Artevite® has been investigated in a clinical trial. Artevite® is not recommended in dogs aged under 1 year. Safe use has not been established in pregnant or lactating dogs. Use with caution in dogs who have a history of bleeding, liver or kidney disorders.

If symptoms persist, seek veterinary advice.
For animal use only. Keep out of reach of children.

How much Artevite® should my dog take? We recommend dogs take 1-2 tablets per 10kg body weight per day.
My dog ate to many tablets, what should I do? Artevite® is unlikely to harm your dog even if he or she has eaten too many. If your dog has eaten more than 4 tablets per 10kg of body weight then he or she might feel a little unwell. Depending on the number of tablets eaten, your dog might vomit or have an upset stomach. If your dog seems unwell we recommend you contact your vet.
My dog won't eat the tablets, what should I do? Although there are lots of tasty ingredients in Artevite® the active ingredient is a plant extract, which can seem a little unusual to some dogs. If your dog does not like the tablets we recommend giving them the tablets in with their meal or, if they still refuse it, hiding it in a piece of food such as cheese. Keep trying! Most dogs will accept the tablets after the first few times and come to enjoy them.
Can my dog take Artevite® with other medicines? Your dog can take Artevite® with most medicines including pain killers, anti-inflammatory drugs and antibiotics. If you are concerned, it's best to check with your vet.
Does Artevite® contain real beef? Yes.
Does Artevite® contain wheat or gluten? No.
